Arshdeep Singh is a fantastic Indian bowler who represents Team India in international cricket. He also plays for Punjab at the domestic level and features for the Punjab Kings franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Singh plays the role of a new ball bowler and a death-over specialist for his team.
Born in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, Arshdeep’s father, Mr. Darshan Singh, was a member of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) team there. Later, his family moved to Kharar near Chandigarh, where he joined Jaswant Rai’s cricket academy and started his career as a cricketer. His coach, Mr. Jaswant Rai, trained him extensively.
Arshdeep was a member of the U-19 squad that lifted the World Cup in 2018. The same year, he got a chance to play for the Punjab U-23 team in the CK Nayudu Trophy, where he took eight wickets against Rajasthan, including a hat-trick.
