Punjab Kings skipper, Shikhar Dhawan made his return to the team after being out due to injury for the last three games. However, his comeback did not go as planned as he failed to make an impact in the match against the Lucknow Super Giants. The left-handed opener received a short and wide delivery from Marcus Stoinis and attempted to slap it towards the off-side boundary.
