Shivam Dube stole the show in the crucial 17th over. With CSK needing 58 runs off 18 deliveries, Dube managed to get 16 runs off that over bowled by Jason Holder in the 17th over.
It all started with the first ball of the over, as Dube smashed a length delivery from Holder straight down the ground for a massive six. The ball sailed over the long-on boundary and landed a whopping 96 meters away. It was a clean hit and showed Dube’s ability to clear the boundary with ease.
The next ball was a wide yorker outside off, which Dube let go thinking it was a wide. However, the ball landed just inside the marker, and the umpire did not signal it as a wide. Dube was lucky to escape the delivery without losing a wicket.
The third ball of the over was a brilliant yorker from Holder, but Dube managed to get his bat down in time and squeeze it through backward point for a boundary. It was an excellent shot, and the ball raced away to the boundary in no time.
Holder tried to make a comeback in the over by bowling a good delivery to Ravindra Jadeja, who managed to take a single. But Dube was not done yet, as he once again smashed Holder through backward point for another boundary in the last ball of the over.
