In what can only be described as an exceptional display of power hitting, Shivam Dube played an incredible innings to get his fifty in just 29 deliveries, but despite his best efforts, the match seems to be out of hands for the Chennai Super Kings. With CSK needing 37 runs off the last over, the Rajasthan Royals have successfully dominated the match.
Dube, who has been in excellent form throughout the season, played some magnificent shots and brought up his fifty with a huge six. This is the third consecutive fifty for the young all-rounder and he has certainly established himself as one of the most exciting players to watch in the tournament.
However, despite Dube’s heroics, the Super Kings have found themselves in a difficult position. With 37 runs required off the last over, it seems highly unlikely that they will be able to pull off an unlikely victory. The Rajasthan Royals have been impressive with both bat and ball and have dominated the match from the start.
