Rajasthan Royals dominated Chennai Super Kings once again, winning by 32 runs and securing their position at the top of the leaderboard. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 77 runs off 43 balls, helping the team set a target of 202 runs. CSK struggled to keep up, with Devon Conway scoring only 8 runs off 16 deliveries. Despite Shivam Dube’s 50 runs off 29 balls, CSK fell short of the target. Rajasthan Royals’ bowlers were exceptional, not giving CSK any room to settle. This win shows that Rajasthan Royals are a strong team and will aim to continue their winning streak in the future.
Here’s what the winning captain had to say –
Winning this game was needed for the team atmosphere and for the fans, also our first win in Jaipur. We can’t go one dimensional; if you’re playing in Chinnaswamy or Wankhede, you will chase but looking at the conditions here, I took the chance to bat first. Even when we batted, all the youngsters came in and did the job. The mindset of attacking is a nice change. Credit has to go to the management and the support staff for what players are doing, you see Jaiswal at the RR academy during the off-season playing a lot of balls.
