In the ongoing match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), RCB pacer Vijaykumar Vyshak turned the momentum of the game with two crucial wickets in a single over. After a solid start by KKR openers N Jagadeesan and Jason Roy, Vyshak’s impressive bowling skills broke their partnership in the 10th over of the innings.
KKR had a solid start to their innings with N Jagadeesan and Jason Roy opening the batting. However, Vyshak broke their partnership in the 10th over of the innings. Jagadeesan was struggling to get going and was caught out giving away his wicket. Vyshak bowled a slower bouncer that Jagadeesan looked to pull, but he didn’t get enough power to clear deep midwicket. It was a good catch from David Willey, who pedalled back to take the catch. Jagadeesan departed for 27 runs from 29 balls, with four fours to his name.
In the same over, Vyshak delivered another crucial blow to KKR, this time dismissing the dangerous Jason Roy. Roy had been hitting the ball well and had scored 56 runs from just 29 balls, with four fours and five sixes. However, Vyshak outsmarted him with a leg-stump yorker that cleaned up his stumps. Roy had been expecting Vyshak to bowl slower balls wide outside off, which he had done a couple of times in the over. But Vyshak had spotted Roy moving across his stumps and executed a perfect yorker to dismiss him.
