RCB missed their first Decision Review System (DRS) opportunity against KKR.
It happened when KKR’s Jason Roy was batting and he missed the sweep shot. The ball was bowled by Wanindu Hasaranga, and it turned out to be a googly that struck Roy on the back leg. The umpire initially turned down the appeal for LBW, but RCB decided to go for the review.

The main question during the review was the impact of the ball. The decision could only be overturned if the ball was shown to be hitting the stumps. The replay showed that the ball was indeed hitting the stumps, but the question was whether it was outside off stump or not. If the ball was outside off stump, then it would not have been given out.
After a long wait, the third umpire finally gave his decision, and it turned out that the ball was outside off stump. Therefore, Roy survived the appeal, and RCB lost their review.
