With this win, the Royals have now won both league games against the formidable team of Chennai Super Kings and have moved up to the top of the leaderboard.
Rajasthan Royals started off strong in the first innings with an impressive batting performance, led by Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 77 runs off 43 balls and Dhruv Jurel’s iconic innings of 34 runs off 15 deliveries. The team set a target of 202 runs, which proved to be too much for Chennai Super Kings.
Although CSK started their second innings positively with Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway opening the innings, Conway struggled at a strike rate of 50.00 and eventually got out for just 8 runs off 16 deliveries.
