Quinton de Kock, the talented South African wicketkeeper-batsman, has joined the LSG squad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. De Kock was previously representing his national team in a One Day International (ODI) series against the Netherlands, which ended on Sunday.
The left-handed batsman has a stellar record in the IPL, having played for several franchises in the past. He has scored over 2000 runs in the tournament, with an impressive strike rate of over 130. His ability to score quick runs at the top of the order and his sharp wicketkeeping skills make him a valuable addition to any team.
LSG, which stands for Lucknow Super Giants is a new franchise in the IPL, having made their debut in the 2022 season. In their debut season, they finished in the playoffs in the points table, narrowly missing out on a final spot.
