IPL 2023 Qualifier 1: Ruturaj Gaikwad gets a lifeline as Darshan Nalkande bowls a no-ball

Darshan Nalkande took a wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad on no-ball.

Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings are at Chepauk Stadium, Chennai to play the Qualifier 1. Chennai are batting first in the game after Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. Chennai Super Kings’ opening batter Ruturaj Gaikwad was dismissed in Darshan Nalkande’s first over which was later declared as no-ball.

Indian batter Ruturaj Gaikwad got a lifeline in this important game because of the no-ball bowled by the young Gujarat Titans’ pacer who is playing his first game of the season, replacing Yash Dayal.

Ruturaj hit a six and a four later in that over. This Darshan Nalkande’s no-ball could prove costly to them as both the openers of Chennai Super Kings namely Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway are in exceptional run of form this season, both scoring 400+ runs.
