Lucknow Super Giants was defeated by Gujarat Titans in the thriller game on Saturday, 22nd April at Lucknow. The game was indeed fantastic as fans were entertained till the last ball of the match. Lucknow got defeated by 7 runs in the end despite playing comfortably in the second innings.
KL Rahul was well settled on the crease along with Krunal Pandya and they were looking too ahead of the Gujarat Titans in every aspect. But the game was changed when Krunal Pandya was dismissed and Lucknow started losing wickets at very quick succession.
KL Rahul was also dismissed in the last over of the game when LSG required 10 off 5. Venkatesh Prasad, the former Indian cricketer slammed KL Rahul after this loss and called him “brainless.”
The former cricketer also praised Hardik Pandya and Gujarat Titans for their hard fought victory and criticized the LSG’s captain KL Rahul who scored 66 runs off 61 balls.
Bottling a run chase when 30 needed of 35 balls with 9 wickets in hand requires some baffling batting. Happened with Punjab in 2020 on few ocassions losing games they should have won easily. As brilliant as Guj were with ball & Hardik smart with his captaincy, brainless from Lko
