IPL 2023: KL Rahul has more 50+ score than any other captain in IPL since 2022

KL Rahul became the fastest to reach 7000 runs in IPL on Saturday against Gujarat Titans.

KL Rahul has been a dominant force in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since taking over as captain of LSG in 2022. He has led the team from the front, both with the bat and with his tactical acumen.

One of the key indicators of his success as captain is the number of times he has scored a half-century or more in the IPL. Since taking over the captaincy, Rahul has scored 50 or more runs on eight occasions, more than any other captain in the league.

Not far behind him is David Miller, who has managed to score a half-century on six occasions while leading the Rajasthan Royals. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson, and David Warner have all managed to do so on four occasions.

Rahul’s consistency as a batsman has been a big factor in his success as captain. He has been able to maintain a high level of performance even when his team has struggled, often putting in match-winning performances to lead his team to victory.
