Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants are up against each other currently at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Host KKR won the toss and decided to bowl first against LSG in the game and it was a good decision until Nicholas Pooran came on to the crease.
KKR bowlers did a great job but couldn’t hold onto their good performance till the end as Nicholas Pooran scored a magnificent fifty in the ahme which took LSG score to 176 runs. LSG lost 8 wickets in the first innings but half-century from Pooran settled the things for Lucknow well. Now KKR will need to score 177 runs to win this game and maintain their hopes of going into the playoffs.
However KKR’s chances of going into playoffs looks very difficult but they are going to try till the end and the win in their last game of the group stage is very important.
