Delhi Capitals managed to cross the 100-run mark against Gujarat Titans in their ongoing match, despite losing five wickets in the power-play.
However, they lost another crucial wicket of Axar Patel, who scored 27 runs off 30 balls, after being caught by Rashid Khan on a well-judged catch off Mohit Sharma’s bowling.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami played a pivotal role in putting the Delhi Capitals on the backfoot, by taking four wickets for just seven runs in the power-play, making it one of the best bowling spells in the IPL history.
Shami displayed exceptional bowling skills and fielding coordination to dismiss Philip Salt, Rilee Rossouw, Manish Pandey, and Priyam Garg, all caught by Wriddhiman Saha.
Despite the early setbacks, Aman Khan plays positively and helps Gujarat Titans to score beyond 40 runs, while Ripal Patel continues to bat.
