Gujarat Titans lost the game against Delhi Capitals on May 2 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Gujarat. It was again a last ball thriller which went to the visitors who bowled exceptionally well in the whole second innings. They defended a total of 131 runs against the table toppers Gujarat Titans in their home.
It was a disappointing loss to Hardik Pandya’s side and also him as he remained not out but couldn’t lead his team to victory in the game despite getting a 50+ score in the chase. Hardik played well but needed some support from the team in order to get that two crucial points in the game.
Ishant Sharma bowled the final over of the game and took a wicket of dangerous looking Rahul Tewatia who hit 3 sixes in the previous over. Ishant Sharma defended 12 in the last one to help Delhi Capitals get their 3rd victory of the season.
