In his first game at IPL 2023, Rashid Khan took two wickets against CSK.

In the 13th over, Rashid Khan struck straightaway. With a superb delivery, he dismissed Abishek Porel for 20 runs. Rashid Khan grabbed his second wicket as Sarfaraz Khan walked back to the pavilion for 30 runs. After that, Rashid Khan got his third wicket against the Delhi Capitals. For his third wicket, the spinner dismissed Aman Khan on the next ball for just eight runs.
