Anrich Nortje, the South African pace bowler, is set to return to the Delhi Capitals’ starting XI for their upcoming match against the Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Nortje had missed the first game of the season against Lucknow Super Giants.
Nortje was a vital cog in the Delhi Capitals’ bowling attack last season, where he picked up 22 wickets in just 16 games, with an impressive economy rate of 8.39. His ability to consistently bowl over 145 kmph and hit the right areas made him a crucial asset for the team.
With Nortje’s return, the Delhi Capitals’ bowling attack looks even more potent, with the likes of Chetan Sakariya, Khaleel Ahmed, and Kuldeep Yadav already in their ranks. but his presence will undoubtedly strengthen the team’s chances of success.
