Sunrisers Hyderabad bought the South African wicket-keeper batter Heinrich Klaasen for INR 5.25 Crore in the IPL 2023 auctions. There was a battle going between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad for the player but SRH who had more money in their pursue won it.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has made some amazing buys in this IPL 2023 auctions. Mayank Agarwal, Harry Brook and now Heinrich Klaasen who can also prove to be a good batter for them. Heinrich Klaasen was released by Rajasthan Royals. He didn’t play much game for the last season’s finalist as they had one wicket-keeper batter with them named Jos Buttler who is the captain of the England cricket team.
Earlier there was bit confusion as the player got sold to Delhi Capitals for 1.25 Crore but the auctioneer didn’t see the flag from Sunrisers Hyderabad and thus the bidding was restarted.
