IPL 2022: Updated points table, orange cap, and purple cap holder after match 66th of LSG

In Match 66 of ongoing IPL 2022, Lucknow Super Giants defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by two runs.

Lucknow Super Giants became the second team to qualify for the IPL 2022 play-offs. In a final over battle at DY Patil Stadium on Wednesday, they beat Kolkata Knight Riders by two runs.

Points Table – 2022

The Gujarat Titans have qualified for the playoffs after taking first place in the points table. With 18 points, the Lucknow Super Giants became the second team to make the playoffs and are now in second position.

Orange Cap – 2022

With a strike rate of 148.22, Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Buttler leads the Orange Cap standings. In twelve games, he has 627 runs, including three half-centuries and three hundreds. With 537 runs, K L Rahul has maintained his second place, while Quinton De Kock has moved up to third place with 502 runs.

Purple Cap – 2022

The Rajasthan Royals’ Yuzvendra Chahal sits in top spot in the purple cap standings after increasing his wicket count to 24. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Wanindu Hasaranga has been moved to second place with 23 wickets.
