Harbhajan Singh, a former Indian cricketer, criticises Mayank Agarwal led Punjab kings for utilising colour codes to lead the team as it is absolutely against the fairness of the game and is also inappropriate for management and coaches to engage in such behaviour.
“This can be a new strategy but it is extremely wrong for management and coaches to indulge in such an act. This violates fairness of the game. Why do you need captain when coaches want to hop onto such a ways to direct captain for bowling changes?” Harbhajan spoke in the commentary during the 60th match of the ongoing season.
He also slammed statistics and computers, claiming that coaches are unfairly using bowling analysis, in which they use different colours to indicate deliveries in order to give the team a strategy to bowl by displaying that particular colour to the bowlers.
Rajat Patidar and Glenn Maxwell kept the score ticking, but both were pulled early, giving PBKS the upper hand. Rishi Dhawan stunned RCB by dismissing skipper Faf Du Plessis and Mahipal Lomror in short succession in an over.
Earlier, openers Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli made RCB a strong start in their 210-run chase against PBKS, but Kagiso Rabada quickly dismissed the latter for 20 runs off 14 balls. PBKS posted a great target against RCB by scoring 209/9 in 20 overs. Jonny Bairstow put on a display of hard-hitting batting, scoring a half-century in just 21 balls to propel Punjab Kings to 83/1, the highest powerplay score this season.
@harbhajan_singh Just when you said, just now that game is influenced by people sitting outside.. showing kala kapda.. which kind of ball to bowl… Analysis based on Computer.. that was right below the belt.. great observation and great courage.. Respect Paaji..
