Indian batter Shubman Gill has an a wierd record to his name in IPL game between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans on Tuesday, 10th May, MCA Stadium, Pune. Shubman Gill remained not-out in Gujarat Titans’ low scoring first innings. It was a brilliant bowling performance by the LSG in the first innings to restrict GT on 144/4 in 20 overs.
Shubman Gill was the man who stayed there in the pitch from start to end but didn’t have a single six in the game. It was a record that legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar made in the year 2009 against CSK where he stayed in the pitch from the start and didn’t hit a single six in the whole innings.
Shubman Gill was the second man to do this after legend Sachin Tendulkar. It was a brilliant innings from Shubman and it came in the winning way for Gujarat Titans. Hardik Pandya’s men also became the first team to qualify for the playoffs of IPL 2022 on Tuesday after winning the game one-sided against LSG.
