IPL 2022: Rajat Patidar adds his name to another exclusive list of the league

Patidar’s 58-run batting came to an end on Friday when Rajasthan Royals’ R Ashwin removed him during Qualifier 2 of the ongoing season.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Rajat Patidar follows David Warner as the second player in the Indian Premier League to hit the most runs in the playoffs in a single season. In the ongoing season’s playoffs, he has hit 170 runs so far, whereas Warner has hit 190 runs in the 2016 ipl season.

During the IPL 2022 Eliminator on Wednesday, Rajat Patidar was the unexpected savior for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Lucknow Super Giants. As RCB scored 207/4 in 20 overs, he hit an undefeated 112 runs. In the chase, LSG came up 14 runs short. Patidar’s innings was the match’s highlight, with 12 fours and seven sixes.
