IPL 2022 Mega Auction: RCB banks Faf du Plessis for 7 crores, while David Warner goes to Delhi for 6.25 crores

Royal Challengers Bangalore might have found their new captain by banking Faf du Plessis for Rs 7 crores at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.

Chennai participated in the beginning to retain the great batsman, Faf du Plessis, but let it go after 2 -3 bids. It was a bidding war between Delhi and RCB, seeming to hunt Faf as their franchise’s new captain.

It’s a great deal made by RCB by buying Faf for Rs 7 crores. They were sure to find a player who can fit into the role of captain after Virat Kohli stepped down as the Captain.

Delhi didn’t leave to bid for Faf either to the very as they were themselves looking forward to seeing Faf as their franchise’s new Captain. But Delhi has bought David Warner at a less price than Faf for Rs 6.25 crores. Surely they must have found David Warner in the role of Captain. David Warner will now be representing the Delhi Franchise for the second time.
