With a total of 17, Rajasthan Royal’s Jos Buttler has the most powerplay sixes in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2022.

Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma (12) has the second most sixes in the powerplay behind him.

In IPL 2022, Jos Buttler solidified his reputation as the most lethal batsman in T20 cricket by hitting 627 runs at a strike rate of over 148.22. Buttler’s three hundreds are the most by anybody in a season other than Virat Kohli in 2016.

On April 30, the 31-year-old right-handed batsman broke previous captain Ajinkya Rahane’s ten years record of scoring the most runs for the franchise in a season by hitting his third half-century of the season against Mumbai in the 44th match at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy.

He has scored 39 percent of Rajasthan Royals’ total runs on his own. In the first half of the season, Buttler has produced 81.1 impact points per match, putting him comfortably at the top of the orange cap list.

However, by his standards, his previous six games have been quite ordinary, and the record of Virat Kohli’s 973 runs in an IPL season now appears to be out of reach.
