Marnus Labuschagne who is a star batsman for Australia in the test format has backed Virat Kohli to edge out Rajasthan Royals in the eliminator match to reach the finals on Friday. The test specialist who had gone unsold in this year’s auction rallied his support to RCB as the favorite to win their maiden IPL title this year, nearly after 14 years. Labuschagne had put up a Twitter poll campaign predicting the chances of which team among Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, and RCB topped the chart to win the title. RCB was ahead in the race and bagged 60 % votes while Gujarat and Rajasthan stood behind by a huge margin.
Marnus, later, replied to a fan who questioned him
“Who do you want to win marnus? I am rooting for RCB. Btw not a fan of any of the 3 teams.”

RCB is two matches away from bringing the title home. The present RCB squad is being termed as the best in the league considering the balanced approach it has been able to provide. The likes of Dinesh Karthik, Virat Kohli, who recently struck back into form, Rajat Patidar, Mahipal Lomror, Faf du Plessis, Hasaranga, and Harshal Patel, are proven match-winners and have largely contributed to helping RCB climb a big spot in the league.
