Riyan Parag hasn’t had the best of the season as the uncapped Indian has majorly spent time in the lower order. The all-rounder player is being termed as talented but the sheer absence of luck during his outing in the IPL has questioned his spot in the playing XI. During the playoff match against Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan scored a good total of 188-6 where Sanju Samson stepped up to put up a fight. Samson scored 47 off 26 balls while Buttler peaked the score with his 89 off 56 balls. Rajasthan played a phenomenal knock but Riyan Parag has clearly lacked confidence, as per the fans.
R Ashwin denied Riyan Parag a strike and that led to the run out of the latter. Twitter quickly lashed out at Riyan Parag who wasn’t at his best while scoring 4 off 3 balls in the final overs of the match. The fans questioned the poor show by the batsman throughout the series and has still managed to retain his spot in the playing XI.
