The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 closing ceremony was hosted by former India coach Ravi Shastri prior of the IPL Final on Sunday at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
The English commentary for the finals will be presented by the former head coach who just turned sixty on Friday.
When Shastri said “Kemcho, Ahmedabad?” to open the IPL 2022 closing ceremony, fans were taken aback by his powerful voice.
After the closing ceremony, Shastri was back on the job, performing the coin toss. Shastri’s followers were in wonder of him as he went about his work, and he was one of the most talked about subjects on media platforms.
The Indian Premier League 2022 final between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals started off to a rousing start with performances by Bollywood sensation Ranveer Singh and music maestro AR Rahman at the closing ceremony. While Ranveer danced to Bollywood tracks, Rahman mesmerized the audience with his pleasant voice.
Ravi Shastri will be doing English commentary tonight.
