Ferguson struck Jos Buttler with a 157.3 kmph fastest ball in the fifth over, leaving him stranded for no runs.
Ferguson has a knack for bowling quickly, and he has gone above 150 kph on many occasions this IPL.
Umran Malik delivered the fastest delivery in IPL 2022 when he hit 157 kph in the 20th over against the Delhi Capitals in Mumbai earlier this season.
It was the fourth ball of the 20th over that Rovman Powell smashed for four. Umran had recorded 154.8 kph earlier in the race. Malik completed with a 4-0-52-0 mark.
