IPL 2022: CSK batsman Ambati Rayudu deletes the retirement tweet; fans spark memefest

CSK batter Ambati Rayudu took back his retirement tweet which he made on Saturday morning.

Chennai Super Kings‘ batter Ambati Rayudu deletes his tweet in which he mentioned about his retirement from all forms of cricket and also Indian Premier League. According to his tweet, he was going to retire after this season of IPL and will not be seen in yellow jersey anymore.

But later on, Ambati Rayudu deleted that tweet which says he is going to retire after this season of IPL. Rayudu has played all the games for CSK this season, however he is not in the brightest of his form but still one of the important players of Yellow army.

After Ambati Rayudu deleted that tweet within an hour of posting it, CEO of Chennai Super Kings Kasi Viswanathan said that the batter will be with the franchise even after this season.

“He was a bit disappointed that he was not doing well. So, he mistakenly put out that tweet. He is not retiring,” Vishwanathan told NDTV.
