For Indian allrounder Shivam Dube, bidding started with a contest between Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals. Punjab entered the contest at INR 75 lakh. After the price reached two crores, there was an exciting contest between PBKS, CSK, and Lucknow. Chennai finally was able to get Dube on board at an amount of INR 4 crore. Here’s CSK’s tweet after bagging in the allrounder:

Amazingly, Shivam Dube is blessed with a baby boy on the same day as his bid at the auction. Shivam Dube took to Instagram and Twitter to announce this joyous occasion.

Spin bowling allrounder K Gowtham was sold to Lucknow for INR 90 lakh. Lucknow and KKR were the first bids for Gowtham. Gowtham was bought in by CSK last year for a sum of INR 9.25 crore, and getting sold for INR 90 lakh this year was shocking for the cricket fanatics. Gowtham was the most expensive uncapped buy in history till yesterday when Avesh Khan surpassed him. Here’s the tweet to Lucknow Super Giants after getting Gowtham onboard.
