It was speculated that Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rashid Khan would part ways. This speculation came true when Rashid Khan’s name was not in the retention list of Sunrisers Hyderabad. After the issue of the letter, It is being informed that Rashid Khan is more likely to be bought by Ahmedabad, leaving a spot open for the overseas player. TOI recently reported on this, telling that new franchise of IPL Lucknow is in the talks with the Australian allrounder Marcus Stoinis and South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada. Both players were part of Delhi Capitals in the last edition of the IPL but have now been released by the side.
