At the age of 21, he is now the fastest bowler of IPL 2021 and it is no mean feat to achieve when you are partaking in one of the most competitive leagues of the world. Along with that, he also managed to pick up his first wicket for the season, in the form of Srikar Bharat, the wicket-keeper batsman. Bharat in the past two innings has managed to score steady innings to provide his team with the stability that they seem to be missing in the early stages of the tournament. By removing Bharat at the cheap score of 12 from 10 balls, Malik has given his team a great opportunity to win this game.
