IPL 2021 Auction: Krishnappa Gowtham sold for 9.25 crores to Chennai Super Kings

Krishnappa Gowtham who was part of many franchises in the Indian Premier League became the player to get the highest bid as an uncapped player. He was sold to Chennai Super Kings who was looking for an all-rounder despite having a very small purse. Gowtham’s base price was just Rs 20 Lakh but he gets the highest bid as an uncapped player because of the clash between Hyderabad and Punjab.

Chennai Super Kings is looking forward to nourishing Gowthamn under the captaincy of MS Dhoni who is known for shaping young talents. As Gowtham sold for the breathtaking price of 9.25 crores and is the expensive Indian till now in the IPL will look forward to giving it back to the franchise with bat and bowl both.

Krishnappa Gowtham also played for Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings but unable to show his spark as but will look forward to learning under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.
