IPL 2021 Auction: 50 Lakh base price Shivam Dubey will play for Rajasthan; sold for 4.4 crores

The all-rounder Shivam Dubey who earlier played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League gets the new franchise Rajasthan Royals. ROyals bid for 4.4 crores on young talent whose base price was just Rs 50 lakhs.

Dubey plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket and will now play for Rajasthan under the leadership of Sanju Samson in the UPL 2021. Shivam Dubey did not get enough chance from Bangalore in UIPL and looking forward to showcasing his skills in the up[coming edition of the tournament.

Shivam Dube was born on 26 June 1993 in Mumbai, India. He stopped playing cricket at the age of 14 as he was overweight and unable to work on his fitness due to financial constraints. He returned to play at the age of 19 and was soon selected for Mumbai under-23s. The story of Dubey is the inspiration for many young talents and he will try to make the full of the opportunity he gets.
