Sunrisers Hyderabad has had a shaky start to the 13th season of the IPL. With an inconsistent middle order, they have lost both their matches. In the contest against Delhi Capitals who have had a roaring start, SRH will be looking to mend a few mistakes they have made. Kane Williamson has not played a single match for SRH and the management would like to change that.
Kane Williamson is an exemplary batsman and provides the much-needed assistance for rotating the strike. He brings the much needed balance to the team. Here are a few reasons why Kane Williamson should play against Delhi Capitals::
1. Stable middle order
With David Warner and Jonny Bairstow opening the batting for SRH, they have a very shaky middle order. On days when the openers don’t perform the team goes downhill which we have seen in the last two matches.
2. Team leadership
David Warner is the captain of the Sunrisers but in the absence of the batsman last year, Kane led the side. The skipper of New Zealand helped his team reach the World Cup final and missed the trophy by a whisker. He might be able to assist Warner better and help the team cross the rope.
3. A great fielder
There is no doubt in the fact that Williamson is very active in the field. We have seen SRH facing problems on the field such as missing crucial catches. Kane’s addition to the playing 11 can help resolve that problem to a great extent as well.
