IPL 2020 Final, MI vs DC: Shreyas Iyer wishes team to rise for the event

Ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL)2020 final, Delhi Capitals (DC) captain skipper Shreyas Iyer has requested his teammates to get ready to encounter the biggest match.

For the very first time, Delhi Capitals (DC) have entered the IPL finals. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians (MI) has been four times IPL champions.

“This has been a rollercoaster. A lot of ups and downs. We have stuck together like a family,” Shreyas Iyer said after his team’s win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final playoff match.

“A lot of responsibility comes as a captain, and on top of that you’ve to maintain consistency as a batsman. “In the next game too, we’ve to play freely and maintain our temperament,” added Shreyas Iyer.

Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL 2020 have won over their rivals, three matches that too by convincing margins.

Delhi Capitals (DC) entering the IPL 2020 final was not an easy task. Mumbai Indians (MI) started their season impressively, winning seven of their first nine matches and making their way to the finals.
