IPL 2020, Final MI vs DC: Here’s the reason why Gautam Gambhir has chosen Marcus Stoinis as skipper in his fantasy XI

Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has chosen Marcus Stoinis as captain of his fantasy XI for the IPL 2020 final.

Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has chosen Marcus Stoinis as the captain of his fantasy XI for the IPL 2020 final match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC). Apart from this, the former has also picked Ravichandran Ashwin over Anrich Nortje in his fantasy XI.

Speaking to cricket.com, Gautam Gambhir gave his reasons for choosing  Marcus Stoinis as skipper and Ravichandran Ashwin over Nortje. Gautam Gambhir said that Marcus Stoinis has started opening the batting line and he bowls good as well. On the other hand, for Ravichandran Ashwin, Gautam Gambhir believes that he can strike early with the ball.

Marcus Stoinis has performed really well in the last two matches against Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). He smashed 38 off 27 balls joining Shikhar Dhawan in Qualifier 2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). 

In comparison to Nortje, Ravichandran Ashwin stands at the 14th position on the list of bowlers with most wickets in IPL 2020, while the right-arm fast bowler is at the seventh position with 20 wickets in 15 matches.
