In the ongoing match between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals, Gujarat Titans’ skipper Hardik Pandya got out in the 11th over of their innings. This was the third wicket to fall for Gujarat Titans, with Chahal taking his first wicket of the match.
Hardik Pandya was looking to go big, having scored 28 runs off 19 balls, including three boundaries and a six. However, Chahal’s tossed up legbreak at 85.6kph spun away from him, resulting in a miscued shot that ended up in the hands of Jaiswal at extra cover. Pandya had stayed leg-side of the ball, looking to hit it downtown, but the spin proved too much for him to handle.
Pandya’s wicket broke the partnership between him and opener Shubman Gill, who had been holding the innings together for Gujarat Titans. Gill, on the other hand, remains unbeaten at the crease and continues to stand strong for his team.
