Despite having such a strong team, it was unexpected that they would emerge victorious on the final day of their debut year, surprising many with their achievement.
Right handed batsman Shubman Gill is one of the promising young talent and additionally benefited the franchise as a consistent opening batsman.
Shubman Gill has not performed for Gujarat Titans in 2022 but is in top form considering his dominance for team India and surprisingly the young batter has done incredibly well in all three formats.
