Murugan Ashwin is an Indian cricketer who plays for Tamil Nadu domestically. He made his List A debut in the 2015-16 season of the Vijay Hazar trophy. After making his T20 debut in 2016, he was picked up by the Rising Pune Supergiants for the IPL for a whopping 4.5 crores compared to his base price of Rs 10 lakhs. He was later picked by the franchise form Delhi in 2017 and played for the RCB in 2018.
In the 2018 auction, Ashwin got picked by the Kings XI Punjab and has been with the franchise since then. He made an impact on the field in 2019 which gave him an advantage for selection in 2020.
