DC outclassed RR to defeat them by 46 runs in the 23rd match in Dream11 IPL 2020. This win saw DC move to the top of the table with 5 wins from 6 matches while RR are second last.
RR won the toss and elected to chase in Sharjah considering the dew factor and small dimensions of the ground. DC openers Prithvi Shaw (19) and Shikhar Dhawan (5) did not have the best of starts as both fell cheaply. Skipper Shreyas Iyer (22) failed as DC were in all sorts of trouble at 79-4.
Man in form Marcus Stoinis (39) and explosive batsman Hetmyer (45) made valuable contributions to take DC to 184-8. Jofra Archer created havoc with the ball as his figures read 4-0-24-3.

In reply, RR batsman never got going as they struggled right from the get-go. Jos Buttler (34) was the only batsman to show some resilience with no support from the other end.
RR would be hoping to turn things around with star all-rounder Ben Stokes being available for the next game.
