Dream11 IPL CSK VS SRH: SRH defeat CSK by 7 runs to win their second game in a row

SRH defeat CSK in a nail biting finish to leave them at the bottom of the table in Dream11 IPL 2020

SRH defeated CSK in the 14th match of Dream11 IPL 2020. This loss sees CSK slip to the bottom of the table for the first time in IPL history.

SRH won the toss and elected to bat first in Dubai considering their heavy bowling attack. SRH fielded the same XI while CSK tossed in 3 changes with Ambati Rayadu, Shradul Thakur and Dwayne Bravo making their  way in the XI.

Jonny Bairstow was out for a duck as he fell in the 4th over to Deepak Chahar. None of the SRH batsman seemed comfortable at the crease expect youngster Priyam Garg scored his maiden fifty in IPL. SRH finished with 164/5 on the board.

In reply, CSK didn’t have any momentum to fight back against the SRH bowlers. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was the lone warrior as he raced his way to his maiden IPL fifty in 35 balls.

Skipper MS Dhoni completed 4,500 runs in IPL to become the 5th Indian to achieve this feat. The match was however not over as MS Dhoni tried to take his team over the line with a quick fire 47 but failed to do so. This was CSK’s 3rd consecutive loss after winning the opener against Mumbai Indians.

SRH’s bowlers deserve all the applause for bowling tight lines to the struggling CSK batsmen. Medium-pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was forced off the field as he tripped over while running in to bowl against MS Dhoni and replaced by Khaleel Ahmed to complete the remaining over.

This match was a combination of good batting and some great bowling by SRH.
