Priyam Garg (born 30 November 2000) is a 19-year-old Indian cricketer born in the city of Meerut, which is a populous city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Garg made his List A debut for his native state of Uttar Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on 19 September 2018. He made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy on 1 November 2018. He made his T20 debut for Uttar Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 21 February 2019.

In August 2019, he was named in the India Green team’s squad for the 2019-2020 Duleep Trophy. In October 2019, he was named in India C’s squad for the 2019-2020 Deodhar Trophy.In December 2019, he was named as the captain of India’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 World Cup.

Salary:

In the 2020 IPL auction Priyam Garg was picked up by the Sunrisers Hyderabad as a highly-rated prospect for a whooping price of 1.9 crore Rupees.

Priyam Garg is an exciting young batsman and has a healthy and impressive average in all formats of domestic cricket. He averages 66.69 runs in 12 first-class matches. In December 2018, during the match against Tripura, he scored his maiden double century in first-class cricket scoring 206 runs which remains his highest score yet. He averages 47.13 runs in 19 List-A games with the highest score of 120 with 2 centuries to his name. He also averages 26.55 in 14 domestic T20 matches with the highest of 59*(* refers to not out) having 2 half-centuries to his name. 

One of the biggest highlights of his career came in the 14th match of the Dream11 IPL 2020 when SRH played CSK at Dubai. Garg scored 51 runs off 26 balls which was his maiden IPL half-century.
