Royal Challengers Bangalore win match 39 of the Dream11 IPL 2020 against Kolkata Knight Riders by 8 wickets as the latter deliver a lacklustre performance at Abu Dhabi.
KKR were restricted to a mere total of just 84 runs in their first innings as RCB picked up early wickets in the powerplay, led by young pacer Mohammad Siraj.
As it was expected, RCB had a cakewalk of a chase in their second innings and they reached comfortably to their target of 85 runs with more than 6 overs to spare. Captain Virat Kohli stayed at the crease till the end along with Gurkeerat Singh who grabbed his opportunity and led Bangalore to victory. Lockie Ferguson was the only bowler from Kolkata to claim a wicket as he got rid of the RCB opener, Aaron Finch.
Royal Challengers Bangalore now move 2nd on the points table ahead of defending champions Mumbai Indians who have a game in hand.
