RCB captain Virat Kohli won the toss and put the Capitals to bat first.
DC opener Prithvi Shaw got his team off to a wonderful start scoring 42 runs in just 23 balls. His partner Shikhar Dhawan got a decent start but could not convert it into a big innings. Rishab Pant played a good innings of 37 runs in just 25 balls. Marcus Stoinis was the star with the bat smashing 53 runs off just 26 balls helping Delhi Capitals post a huge total of 196 runs at the loss of 4 wickets after 20 overs.
Mohammad Siraj made his debut of this tournament for RCB and picked up a couple of wickets conceding just 34 runs. Isuru Udana and Moeen Ali picked up a wicket each as well. Young spinner Washington Sundar failed to pick up any wickets however impressed again conceding just 20 runs in his 24 balls.
RCB have a very talented and experienced batting lineup and will expect to chase this huge total down.
