Kolkata Knight Riders will be coming into this game with supreme confidence. Their first game against the Mumbai Indians did not go well as they lost by a considerable margin. However, they convincingly beat SRH in their last. Their performance was much improved, and having found a great balance in their team they would be pretty confident about overcoming an in form Royals team.

Pat Cummins has been a huge positive for KKR as he has impressed with the bat as well as with the ball. KKR’s big money acquisition in youngster Kamlesh Nagarkoti back in 2018 had been disappointing for the fans in the last 2 years as the youngster has not been able to place a single game for the Kolkata franchise due to injuries. He made his debut in the last game and everyone would be hoping that he can kick on from there and show what he is all about. Young pacer Shivam Mavi has been impressive as well along with spinner Varun Chakravarthy who made his KKR debut as well in the last game picking up a wicket and conceding just 25 runs in his 4 overs.
Shubman Gill and Eoin Morgan hit top form in the previous, helping KKR chase down the total set by the Sunrisers with ease and both the batsman remaining not out until the very end. Shubman Gill made an impressive half-century and the youngster would only want to do better from here on. West-Indian duo Sunil Narine and Andre Russel have maintained their usual high standards delivering great performances.
