Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) has won the toss and elected to field first.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are currently placed at the fourth position in the Indian Premier League (IPL) points table with 11 points. On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) are standing fifth in the points table with five wins from their 11 matches.
