Delhi Capitals got off to a difficult start losing 2 early wickets of Prithvi Shaw on the first ball followed by the wicket of Ajinkya Rahane after a couple of overs, both taken by the Englishman Jofra Archer. A big partnership between Shikhar Dhawan and captain Shreyas Iyer ensured that Delhi put a respectable total on the board, as the pair scored 57 runs in 33 balls and 53 runs in 43 balls respectively.
There was a good bowling performance from RR tonight. Jofra Archer was the star of the show picking up 3 wickets for just 19 runs in his 4 overs, followed by a couple of wickets for Jaydev Unadkat in the last over and a wicket each for Shreyas Gopal and Kartik Tyagi.
Rajasthan Royals have a brilliant and powerful batting lineup and they will be confident of chasing down this total against DC.
