Indian Premier League concluded just a few weeks ago. However, there are some questions unanswered. Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) decision of handing over captaincy to England’s World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan. Although, It was said Dinesh Karthik himself gave up captaincy to focus on his batting.
Aakash Chopra, the former Indian Cricketer, questioned KKR’s decision of handling captaincy to the England Captain, in halfway through the tournament. The decision didn’t show any fruitful results, As KKR failed to qualify for the play-offs.
Karthik who led KKR for the initial phase, helped the franchise win four of first seven matches. While the team won only three matches out of last nine.
Former India batsman and commentator Chopra questioned if Karthik really did voluntarily give up the captaincy. Chopra took Facebook to share his views and said
