CSK youngster Ruturaj Gaikwad has tested positive yet again for COVID-19

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) youngster Ruturaj Gaikwad will continue to remain in quarantine as he has yet again tested positive for COVID-19.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) young player, Ruturaj Gaikwad will continue to remain in quarantine as he has yet again tested positive for COVID-19. Ruturaj Gaikwad will not be allowed to interact with any staff members and players in the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bubble and will continue to remain in quarantine.

The latest test results comes as a massive difficulty to the CSK squad. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) would have loved to have Ruturaj Gaikwad in the matcha the team prepare themselves for the opening match against Mumbai Indians (MI) on 19th September 2020.

Earlier, CSK pacer Deepak Chahar had also tested positive for coronavirus. However, he later tested negative and is currently practicing with the team.

Ambati Rayudu might bat at No. 3 for CSK

A couple of weeks ago, Suresh Raina had pulled out of CSK squad due to personal reasons and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team were looking up at Ruturaj Gaikwad to take up the role. However Ruturaj Gaikwad looks uncertain for CSK’s opening encounter.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) might look at Ambati Rayudu to bat at No. 3. Rayudu has batted at No. 3 before in his IPL career. In 2018, Ambati Rayudu amassed a total of 602 runs for CSK at an average of 43.00.
